SUMMARY OF THE STATUTE

 

ART. 2
(Aims and purposes)

 

The consortium  is a non-profit making association and its initiatives are aimed at supporting and promoting the economic, cultural and employment development in the area of the Province of Grosseto, carrying out its activity according both to the planning and to the development tools of the provincial territory.

The association priority carries out the actions and the activities which are provided by the E.C. Regulation n. 1260/99, which are connected to the Communitarian Initiative named “LEADER PLUS” and to the following adjournments of the Communitarian policies; the association  can also carry out support activities to local economic development in the following sectors as well:

a) Promotion and support to rural development, also thanks to the research as well as to fact-finding investigations in different selected research fields, to the organization of conferences and workshops, to the drafting and carrying out of studies and projects related to feasibility and development;
b) valorisation of the territorial environmental resources, selection of interventions which are compatible with the environment, including the renewable energy sources;
c) valorisation and promotion of local productions, with particular regard to high-quality and to biological productions, also thanks to the support to the local authorities and local enterprises;
d) realization and promotion of services  of the advanced service sector as well, territorial marketing, advertisement, information services, communication, promotion and creation of computer and data transmission connections to the outdoors, within the area of intervention; planning and creation of services for professional training and vocational guidance;
e) the valorisation, the promotion and the support to tourist services of the area, with particular regard to the development of coordination activities among the different sectors of intervention (environment, local productions, other services...) and the tourist effect as well as the territorial image;

f) the activities connected to the development of the initiatives selected in the aforementioned fields of intervention in the framework of the transnational and interregional cooperation.

 

For business promotion activities, as provided by the local action plan referred to in the EC Regulation, the company will be able to make use of structures, in the area, which have demonstrated skills and expertise in the sectors identified in the plan itself.

For the continuation of the abovementioned social goals, the company can also carry out all the operations and the financial assets (including leasing), credit, securities, real estate (purchases, sales, permutations, construction of surface rights, lease with pact of future sales, sales with redemption or purchase, construction of buildings, divisions, etc. ..), technical- scientific as well as promotional ones, which are necessary or useful for the attainment of the corporate purpose and aimed at the economic and employment development of the reference territory, with the express exclusion of any activities referred to. 106 of D.L. number 385 of 1st of September 1993 and subsequent amendments and additions.

The company could perform its activity directly and/or cooperatively with other public or private bodies, and it could also join other firms or societies with its similar or connected aims. Finally, it could employ staff and stipulate agreements with qualified professionals and/or their studies.
